The article addresses the actual problem of chronic pain in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Particular attention is paid to the nociceptive component of pain caused by the biomechanics disorders of the spine and the development of myoadaptive overload syndromes (MOSs). A pathogenetic analysis of postural and vicarious mechanisms of musculoskeletal overload occurring due to paresis, spastic hypertonicity, and spinal deformity is presented. Their importance in the pain chronification, decreased motor activity, and the quality of life of MS patients has been reported. The need for an integrative approach to diagnosing and treating pain, including pharmacological methods and correction of biomechanical disorders using soft manual techniques and motor therapy, is substantiated.

Cardiorenal syndrome (CRS) is a bidirectional relationship shared between the heart and kidneys, both in physiological and pathophysiological perspectives. The metabolic, hemodynamic, and neurohormonal alterations between the heart and kidneys drive this dual-organ damage and are responsible for one of the highest medical concerns around the globe. From a pathophysiological perspective, activation of the renin-angiotensin system, persistent inflammation, oxidative stress, and reactive fibrosis are accountable for the damage to the heart and kidneys.

Heart failure (HF) is a progressive clinical syndrome characterised by insufficient cardiac output due to structural and functional abnormalities of the heart, which can then lead to breathlessness, fatigue and fluid overload. HF has an associated high morbidity and mortality rate as well as a significant impact on healthcare resources; for example, in the UK, it accounts for 5% of National Health Service (NHS) emergency admissions. This review focuses on pharmacological treatment of chronic HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), which affects approximately 60% of patients with HF.

Objective: To evaluate the safety, adhesion rates, and perioperative outcomes of monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical hysteroscopic metroplasty in women with a septate uterus.
Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective analysis of 155 consecutive patients who underwent same-session laparoscopy and hysteroscopic septum resection between January 2021 and January 2025. Procedures were performed under surgeon discretion using either a monopolar loop with glycine distension or a bipolar loop with isotonic Ringer's lactate.

Mitochondrial dysfunction is increasingly recognized as a critical driver in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. Mitochondrial quality control (MQC) is an ensemble of adaptive mechanisms aimed at maintaining mitochondrial integrity and functionality and is essential for cardiomyocyte viability and optimal cardiac performance under the stress of cardiovascular pathology. The key MQC components include mitochondrial fission, fusion, mitophagy, and mitochondria-dependent cell death, each contributing uniquely to cellular homeostasis.
