Background: Neoantigen-based vaccines show promising therapeutic potential in solid tumors such as melanoma, GBM, NSCLC, and CRC. However, clinical responses remain suboptimal in stage IV patients, due to ineffective T-cell function and high tumor burdens. To overcome these limitations, our study investigates a combination strategy using neoantigen peptide vaccines and precision critical lesion radiotherapy (CLERT), which delivers immunomodulatory doses to key tumor regions synergistically enhance immune activation and inhibit progression in multifocal stage IV patients.

Botulinum Neurotoxin Type A (BoNT-A) remains the cornerstone of glabellar frown line treatment, yet conventional low-dose, high-volume protocols often result in limited durability and imprecise diffusion. This study presents multiscale, in silico framework specifically designed to evaluate high-dose (60-80 Units), low-volume (≤0.045 mL/site) BoNT-A glabellar injection strategies across anatomically realistic conditions.

Background: Xuanshen decoction (XSD) is a traditional Chinese medicine formulation that is often applied in treating slow transit constipation (STC). However, its specific therapeutic mechanism remains to be characterized.

Aim: To investigate the mechanism of XSD for STC, we combined network pharmacology prediction, molecular docking analysis, and studies.

Impact of High-Dose Gamma Irradiation on PLA/PBAT Blends Reinforced with Cellulose Nanoparticles from Pineapple Leaves.

Universidade de São Paulo, Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares, IPEN-CNEN/SP, Av. Prof. Lineu Prestes, 2242-Cidade Universitária, São Paulo, SP BR 05508-900, Brazil.

Polylactic acid (PLA), a widely used biopolymer, faces limitations in melt strength and miscibility with poly-(butylene adipate--terephthalate) (PBAT), requiring compatibilization strategies. This study uniquely investigates the combined effects of high dose of gamma irradiation (80-150 kGy) and low-aspect-ratio cellulose nanoparticles (CNPs) on PLA/PBAT blends, aiming to enhance compatibility and mechanical performance. Gamma irradiation induced chain scission and radical formation, improving blend compatibility but reducing mechanical properties at high doses due to excessive chain scission.

To describe 3 cases of intraocular inflammation (IOI) in patients who received faricimab and high-dose aflibercept in consecutive order. Retrospective case review. Three patients, 2 with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and 1 with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), transitioned from 2 mg aflibercept to either faricimab (in cases 1 and 2) or high-dose aflibercept (in case 3) due to persistent disease activity.
