Currently, symptomatic gastrointestinal (GI) angiodysplasia is treated with argon plasma coagulation (APC) via endoscopic procedures, supplemented with octreotide or thalidomide treatment. However, suboptimal response and side effects are often seen. Bevacizumab, an angiogenesis inhibitor, may provide an alternative systemic therapy for patients with refractory GI angiodysplasia.

Background: Belzutifan is a HIF-2ɑ inhibitor approved for the treatment of tumors in von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome and sporadic metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (spRCC) in the refractory setting. The efficacy and side effects of belzutifan are well-documented from clinical trials, however, real-world data examining the incidence and management of adverse events (AEs) are lacking. Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is an aggressive hematologic neoplasm characterized by an expansion of CD123 monocytes and plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). pDC bone marrow clusters in CMML have been associated with higher rates of acute myeloid leukemia transformation. Aim: The objective of this study was to describe the disease management landscape for patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) in Japan.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey with retrospective data capture of physicians and their consulting patients between March and December 2022. Physicians completed patient record forms in a 1:2 ratio: one patient receiving first-line (1 L) treatment and two patients with relapsed/refractory disease, one of whom must have received and discontinued a Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor (BTKi).
