Background: This study demonstrated barriers to and challenges of setting up a comprehensive RTI registry in selected hospitals in Tabriz, Iran.
Methods: Data collection was performed through semi-structured interviews with recommended involved professionals and hospitalized patients due to Road Traffic Crash (RTC). The participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out utilizing the contractual content analysis approach and MAXQDA software.
Results: Four main themes and 12 sub themes emerged from the analysis of the interviews. The first main theme was the medical staff performance which include low accuracy in recording data by physicians and nurses and a high workload of medical staff. The second main theme was resources and financial facilities which included insufficient human resources, and financial deficits. Management system challenges were the third main theme which included sub-themes such as the lack of cross-sectorial cooperation, loose intra-hospital cooperation, lack of follow-up, etc. The last main theme was challenges related to patients which include lack of patient collaboration and Lack of patient’s relative’s cooperation.
Conclusions: To eliminate the barriers and challenges of the RTIs registry system, as well as improve the management system and provide financial facilities, it is necessary to apply training and incentive policies, such as continuing education about the registry of RTIs in hospitals.

Purpose: Michigan Screening and Intervention for Glaucoma and Eye Health through Telemedicine Program (MI-SIGHT) was developed to facilitate access to glaucoma and eye disease screening and improve attendance at recommended follow-up in underserved communities. MI-SIGHT offered free eye disease screenings, low-cost glasses and for those who screened positive for glaucoma, personalized education, and language-concordant coaching grounded in motivational interviewing. The primary aims of this study were 1) To explore barriers to eye care among Latine participants with limited English proficiency (LEP) who screened positive for glaucoma, 2) to understand whether and how the MI-SIGHT program facilitated access to care and 3) to understand participant experience in MI-SIGHT to inform the development of future interventions.

Background: Cystic fibrosis imposes a significant treatment burden on children and their informal caregivers, who have to change their routines to carefully adhere to medication and exercise as treatment regimes. Although informal caregivers are known to be key players in the daily management of these children, their own voice is scarcely explored, often hindering personalisation of care. The main objective of the study was to map the multifactorial impact of cystic fibrosis, as well as identify barriers and facilitators perceived by parental caregivers in managing the disease in the paediatric age.
