The utilization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and spp. correlates with improved plant nutrition and the stimulation of systemic plant defenses in response to pathogen challenges. Nonetheless, studies examining the effects of AMF colonization and the foliar application of the isolate Tvd44 on viral infection are limited.

This study examined the phytochemical diversity, antioxidant capacity, and genetic relationships among species collected from western and central Iran. Significant interspecific and regional variation was observed in total phenolic and flavonoid contents, with from Khuzestan showing the highest phenolic (50.26 mg GAE/g DW) and antioxidant activity (DPPH: 70.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute systemic vasculitis affecting children and leads to severe coronary artery complications, such as aneurysms. The cause of KD remains elusive, with infections suspected as potential triggers. Diagnosis is largely dependent on clinical symptoms due to the lack of specific laboratory molecular markers.

Introduction: Consuming foods rich in bioactive compounds can delay chronic non-communicable diseases. Dragon fruit, known for its bioactive compounds with typically low bioavailability-attributed to high polarity, poor permeability, and rapid firstpass metabolism-benefits from strategies like encapsulation to enhance efficacy.
Methods: This study developed and assessed phytosomes loaded with dragon fruit extract (Hylocereus costaricensis) and compared their biological activity and against the raw extract.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are pivotal post-transcriptional regulators that orchestrate gene expression programs governing cancer initiation, progression, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance. Among their many targets, the WNT signaling pathway, a key driver of malignancy, is tightly controlled by miRNAs, forming intricate feedback loops that shape tumor behavior. Concurrently, flavonoids, naturally occurring plant-derived polyphenols, are emerging as promising anticancer agents that can modulate both WNT signaling and miRNA expression.
