Background: Trials of neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy (chemoIO) have changed the standard of care for resectable nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study characterizes the outcomes of off-trial patients who received treatment with neoadjuvant chemoIO.
Methods: The authors analyzed records of patients with stage IB-III NSCLC who received neoadjuvant chemoIO with an intent to proceed to surgical resection at three US academic institutions.

IO-202 is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 monoclonal antibody with high affinity and specificity for leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4 (LILRB4; ILT3), which is predominantly expressed in monocytes and monocytic blasts. IO-202 induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis in vitro and in patients with leukemia. Herein, we present the phase 1a dose escalation data of IO-202 as monotherapy and in combination with azacitidine (AZA) in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and R/R chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), and the phase 1b dose expansion data of IO-202 combined with AZA for the treatment of hypomethylating agent (HMA)-naïve CMML.

Summary: Pheochromocytomas are rare neuroendocrine tumors derived from adrenal chromaffin cells that result in hyperactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. We present the case of a patient with biochemical evidence of pheochromocytoma, but surgical pathology revealed absence of tumor. This is an 80-year-old female with a past medical history of metastatic follicular lymphoma and hypertension with an incidental 1.

Background And Aim: The HR-positive/HER2-negative (HR+/HER2-) advanced/metastatic breast cancer (a/mBC) treatment landscape has advanced with cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i), yet outcome disparities persist, particularly among older patients and black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities. Emerging real-world evidence (RWE) since 2021 highlights the need for this updated systematic literature review.
Methods: Searches were conducted in MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane Databases (07/06/2019-01/09/2024) and key congress proceedings (2020-2024).

Optimal neuraxial anesthesia for cesarean delivery requires a thorough understanding of patient, obstetrical, surgical, and anesthesia-related factors which can impact pain during and after cesarean delivery. While not all cesarean deliveries are the same from an obstetrical standpoint, not all anesthetics provide the same degree of anesthetic blockade and postcesarean analgesia; therefore, context is crucial to provide patients with a safe and pain-free experience. Communication between obstetrical and anesthesia teams is key to ensure that the anesthetic approach is tailored to the clinical scenario, particularly if emergency cesarean delivery is needed, and follows best practices for cesarean delivery anesthesia.
