Background: The Swedish Child Healthcare services (CHS) includes team-based visits. Team-based visits are defined as physical meetings where different professionals, including the child and his or her parents, participate at the same time at the same place. This study aimed to explore healthcare professionals' experiences of these visits to better understand the opportunities and difficulties in meeting the unique needs of children and their families through team-based visits.

Background: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a significant health concern affecting approximately 1% of live births. Among these anomalies, bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) is the most prevalent, while bicuspid pulmonary valve (BPV) remains exceptionally rare. This case report presents a unique instance of a 10-year-old girl diagnosed with the combination of BAV and BPV alongside a ventricular septal defect (VSD) and infundibular stenosis, referred to as the Gasul phenomenon.

Background: The tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) imatinib targets KIT and PDGFRA, offering significant therapeutic benefits in advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs). However, the high rate of recurrence following treatment discontinuation suggests that drug-tolerant persister cells (DTPs) may contribute to therapy resistance. Elucidating the mechanisms underlying DTP survival is critical for the development of curative strategies.
