Two previously unreported C-diterpenoid alkaloids, bonvalotizines A and B (-), together with fourteen previously identified compounds (-) were obtained from the plant of var. (Franch.) W.T. Wang. Structural characterisation of the new compounds was achieved through spectroscopic analysis, including NMR (1D and 2D), HR-ESI-MS, and IR techniques. Biological evaluation revealed that none of the isolated compounds exhibited notable suppression of NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophages induced with lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
