Objectives: This study aimed to investigate healthcare professionals' experiences with using the PRO Palliative Care questionnaire (PRO-Pall) to identify palliative care symptoms and problems in non-specialized palliative care settings among patients with heart, lung, and kidney disease, and cancer. The study also investigated the PRO-Pall's potential to ensure further initiatives and care.
Methods: A national, multicenter, observational study employing a mixed-methods approach.

Ultrasonography in veterinary medicine serves a vital role in the diagnosis and management of various medical conditions by allowing noninvasive visualization of internal structures. Veterinary students face many challenges in gaining hands-on experience with ultrasound equipment and developing competencies in ultrasonography. This is largely due to the limited access and ethical dilemmas of live animal models and the high cost of commercial phantoms.

Background: Current management of pediatric cutaneous abscesses involves either spontaneous healing by secondary intention or suturing through tertiary intention, which are often lengthy processes that cause discomfort and distress among children. As it is noninvasive and simple, a novel zipper device is widely used for the primary wound closure of surgical incisions.
Objective: To describe the effectiveness of novel zipper device use for pediatric cutaneous abscess wound closure in an outpatient context.
