The oral rehabilitation of patients with microvascularized bone and extraoral skin grafts is a clinical challenge. The integration of these procedures with digital technologies has increased the treatment accuracy, minimizing the risk associated with anatomical variations, and improving esthetic and functional outcomes. This article presents a reproducible and completely digital approach for the functional and esthetic rehabilitation of reconstructed jaws with microvascularized bone and extraoral skin grafts.

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are a prevalent complication of diabetes, leading to significant morbidity, mortality, and amputation rates. Chronic non-healing DFU often result from peripheral neuropathy, microvascular issues, and infection, with poor blood and oxygen supply being critical factors in delayed healing. The development of new treatments to promote blood supply and accelerate ulcer healing is a significant area of research for DFU management.

In 1994, Vacca, Ribatti, and colleagues demonstrated for the first time that bone marrow microvascular density was significantly increased in multiple myeloma (MM) compared to monoclonal gammopathies of undetermined significance (MGUS) and moreover in active vs. non-active forms. Starting from 1994, the aim of this review article is to summarize the most important acquisitions in the literature concerning the role of angiogenesis in MM progression and the possibility to use anti-angiogenic drugs in its treatment.

Background/aim: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is a genetic disorder characterized by the development of multiple tumors, including plexiform neurofibromas (PNFs), which often affect the craniofacial region and cause significant functional and aesthetic impairments. This report presents long-term surgical management of a patient with hemifacial diffuse PNF, complicated by the emergence of a rapidly enlarging midfacial tumor.
Case Report: The patient was treated for hemifacial invasive diffuse plexiform neurofibroma.
