Predicting team dynamics from personality traits remains a fundamental challenge for the psychological sciences and team-based organizations. Understanding how team composition shapes team processes can significantly advance team-based research along with providing practical guidelines for team staffing and training. Although the input-process-output model has been a useful theoretical framework for studying these connections, the complex nature of team member interactions demands a more dynamic approach.

Purpose: Evidence-based medicine (EBM), precision medicine and interdisciplinarity are becoming increasingly important in medical education. Background: Infant feeding and swallowing disorders are becoming more prevalent, resulting in an increased caseload for speech-language pathologists. However, clinical training for speech-language pathology students is often insufficient, primarily due to the vulnerability of the infant population and the absence of well-established training approaches. Simulation-based learning helps mitigate the challenges associated with frail clients, while team-based learning offers a systematic training framework.

Background: In allocating resources, healthcare system leaders must balance multiple competing priorities. To gain insight into how geriatrics champions can effectively "move the needle" in advocating for geriatrics services, we asked healthcare system leaders about their process of priority-setting, their views on geriatrics in general and services for rural older adults in particular, and about recommended communication strategies for geriatrics champions.
Methods: We conducted interviews with 11 former leaders in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), who represented all four major census regions in the United States and had over 250 years of VHA leadership experience combined.
Introduction: Multidisciplinary care can improve glycemic outcomes in individuals with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Yet, prior studies suggest limited utilization of team-based care and either no reimbursement or inadequate reimbursement for diabetes and nutritional education, mental health and social support as well as remote services. We sought to evaluate multidisciplinary care services offered by pediatric diabetes centers to understand whether current practices are sustainable.
