BackgroundChronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), a severe form of peripheral artery disease (PAD), results in significant morbidity and mortality. The Global Limb Anatomic Staging System (GLASS) is a new tool designed to predict outcomes in CLTI patients undergoing endovascular treatments, yet its relationship with short-term outcomes requires further investigation.ObjectiveThis study evaluates the correlation between GLASS staging and short-term outcomes in CLTI patients treated with endovascular procedures for infrainguinal lesions.

Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is a significant cause of developmental disorders and permanent central nervous system damage, with functional recovery closely linked to myelin sheath integrity. This study aimed to analyze the expression of pH and the voltage-gated proton channel (Hv1) in the brains of neonatal pigs with HIE at various time points, alongside changes in myelin-related proteins. MRI was employed to localize the basal ganglia and assess pH changes post-hypoxia-ischemia, while immunofluorescence staining was used to evaluate Hv1, myelin basic protein (MBP), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG), and myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG).

Importance: Right anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (R-AAOCA) is a rare congenital condition increasingly diagnosed with the growing use of cardiac imaging. Due to dynamic compression of the anomalous vessel, invasive fractional flow reserve (FFR) during a dobutamine-atropine volume challenge (FFR-dobutamine) is considered the reference standard. A reliable alternative method is needed to reduce extensive invasive testing, but it remains uncertain whether noninvasive imaging can accurately assess the hemodynamic relevance of R-AAOCA.

Brain ischemia is a major global cause of disability, frequently leading to psychoneurological issues. This study investigates the effects of 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) on anxiety, cognitive impairment, and potential underlying mechanisms in a mouse model of medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) ischemia. Mice with mPFC ischemia were treated with normal saline (NS) or different doses of 4-AP (250, 500, and 1000 µg/kg) for 14 consecutive days.

Renal transplantation is the best option for end-stage renal disease, and in this study, patients who underwent robotic-assisted renal transplantation (RAKT) and open renal transplantation (OKT) were selected to compare their intraoperative and postoperative clinical outcomes: including Operation Time, Length of Stay, WIT (warm ischaemia time), CIT (cold ischaemia time), Estimated Blood Loss, Post 1 month Creatinine, Incision Length, Rewarming Time, Wound infection. The study was registered in PROSPERO with CRD code: CRD420251061084. We searched in Web of Science, Pubmed, Wiely, Elsevier databases, screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and finally included 7 papers.
