The present paper was designed to analyze the dimensions of such important bony structures and surgical landmarks, which are used by many clinicians in many surgical interventions, in dry skull, cadaver, and healthy subjects on computed tomography (CT) images, and to determine whether there is a significant difference between these methods, and to obtain reference values from 3 different methods. Eight cadavers and 16 dry skulls and 100 three-dimensional (3D) CT images were studied. Necessary permissions for the study were obtained from Ethics Comittee. The 16 parameters were measured with an electronic digital caliper accurate 0.01 mm (LCD Digital Vernier Dial Microcaliper (INCA, DCLA-0605, 0.6-150 mm, USA). Also, the images obtained were transferred to the 3D Slicer (version 5.6.2) software program. Eight cadavers and 16 dry skulls of Turkish adults were unknown age and sex, whereas the mean age of females and males on CT images were 31.63±11.23 and 33.70±13.34 years, respectively. All values of the surgical landmarks for the anterior and middle cranial fossa obtained from cadavers, dry skulls, and 3D CT subjects (except length of lesser wing, anterior clinoid lengths for 2 sides, and width for right side) were statistically significant between 3 groups ( P <0.05). This paper was conducted for the morphometric analysis of the specific regions of the anterior cranial fossa (ACF), and middle cranial fossa (MCF), which are used in neurosurgical procedures This detailed anatomic and radiologic reference values will be an extremely important source in the planning of both clinical and surgical approaches for neurosurgeon, anatomist, and radiologists.

Primary cardiac angiosarcoma is an extremely rare tumor, especially in pediatric populations (0-18 years), which often carries a poor prognosis due to vague symptoms and its aggressive nature. We present a rare case involving a 17-year-old female, illustrating the diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties posed by this condition in an atypical age group. A 17-year-old female presented with a one-month history of dry cough, exacerbated when lying down, and orthopnea requiring two pillows for sleep.

Purpose: To investigate the clinical effect of piezosurgery combined with 45°contra-angle turbine drill in extraction of impacted mandibular wisdom teeth.
Methods: A total of 146 patients with impacted wisdom teeth at the median mandibular level admitted from June 2022 to June 2024 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 73 cases in each group. The wisdom teeth in the control group were simply removed using 45° contra-angle turbine drill, while those in the experimental group were removed using piezosurgery combined with 45° contra-angle turbine drill.

Purpose: Sutures are the most frequently utilized to ensure a watertight seal, reposition the flap to its natural alignment, provide mechanical stability to secure tissues during the early healing phase, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications. This study aimed to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of the V-Loc Poly (p-dioxanone) knotless Tissue Control Device wound closure system and conventional silk suture in intra-oral closure following surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molar.
Methods: This is a prospective randomized split-mouth study involving 17 patients with bilateral mirror image third molars, one side received V- Loc unidirectional knotless barbed sutures while the other received silk sutures for the study and control group on a week's interval accordingly.
