Article Abstract

Himalaflavones F () and G (), two new flavonoids, along with eight known ones ()were isolated from the roots of Edgew. The chemical structures of these compounds were elucidated by 1D/2D NMR, UV and HR-ESI-ME data. Meanwhile, the anti-inflammatory activities of all isolates were test by using Griess method. Among them 10 μM of compounds , , and could decrease the NO release against LPS-induced RAW264.7 macrophages. The results suggested that these compounds have the potential to be developed as anti-inflammatory drugs.
