There is a concern on the safety of cosmetic ingredients and their endocrine-disrupting (ED) potential. Frequent use as well as the use of a diverse range of cosmetics pose a concern for a potential health risk via aggregate exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). In this study, a list of ingredients available in cosmetic products that were recently introduced to the Dutch market was retrieved from the commercially accessible Mintel database and screened for the presence of EDCs.

Introduction: Etripamil is a fast-acting intranasally self-administered calcium-channel blocker developed for termination of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT). Prior studies have demonstrated safety and efficacy of etripamil for PSVT termination following an initial medically supervised test dose during sinus rhythm. NODE-303 is an open-label, single-arm study that evaluated etripamil for multiple, at-home PSVT episodes, without test dose before first use.

Background: Moderate to severe acne scars pose a therapeutic challenge and often require multimodal treatments. Ablative fractional laser (AFL) and fractional microneedling radiofrequency (FMR) are commonly used, but their alternating application has not been fully studied.

Patients And Methods: In this prospective, randomized, single-blind, split-face trial, 20 patients (Fitzpatrick III-IV) received four treatments at 4-week intervals: one facial side underwent alternating FMR (sessions 1, 3) and AFL (sessions 2, 4), while the contralateral side received AFL alone.

This study aimed to evaluate the quality of multidisciplinary team (MDT) management in healthcare-associated infection (HAI) prevention and control, as well as its impact on multidrug-resistant organism (MDRO) infections. This was a retrospective, single-center study with a small sample size. A total of 400 patients admitted to the Departments of Critical Care Medicine or Orthopedics between January 2022 and December 2023 were divided into a control group (n = 200, receiving conventional HAI management) and an experimental group (n = 200, undergoing MDT management).
