Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a rare and progressive cerebrovascular disorder characterized by stenosis of the internal carotid arteries and their major branches, leading to the development of abnormal collateral vessels. While MMD is traditionally associated with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, there is increasing recognition of the psychiatric symptoms that can accompany the disease, which significantly impact patient outcomes and complicate management. This case report presents a 30-year-old female with a history of recurrent ischemic strokes, hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia, who initially presented with neurological symptoms including headache, left-sided weakness, and facial deviation.

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), formerly known as Wegener's granulomatosis, is a rare form of pauci-immune vasculitis that primarily affects the respiratory tract and kidneys, though it can involve virtually any organ system. As a systemic vasculitis, it targets small- and medium-sized blood vessels and is associated with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA), particularly those directed against proteinase 3 (PR3). Due to its nonspecific symptoms and variable clinical presentation, GPA requires a high index of suspicion for timely diagnosis.

We present two patients who presented with symptoms that overlap with asthma, but upon further diagnostic evaluation, were revealed to have underlying malignancy. These cases highlight the importance of objective evidence-based evaluation in unveiling diagnoses previously mislabeled as asthma. The first patient was a 51-year-old with one year of cough and waning albuterol responsiveness, with worsening orthopnea and exertional dyspnea.

The aim of this study is to report a case of penile metastasis from prostate carcinoma, as it represents a very rare occurrence that clinicians should be aware of. We report a case of a 68-year-old patient affected by prostate cancer who has performed a PSMA-PET after radical prostatectomy for PSA elevation, which revealed a suspected uptake in the corpora cavernosa and corpora spongiosum, followed by multiparametric MRI examination with focus on penile involvement.

The effectiveness and tolerability of medicines can vary considerably from person to person, even at the same dose. This variation is influenced by many factors, including constitutional genetic characteristics. In fact, some people have genetic variations that are common and neutral in the population, known as polymorphisms, which can affect drug metabolism or make them more susceptible to certain adverse effects.
