This study investigates the microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of a laser welded AZ80 magnesium alloy. The welding process led to the formation of coarse-grained fusion zone (FZ), where a secondary phase formed continuous network. MgAl precipitation and coarsening of grain boundaries occurred in the heat affected zone. The welded joint exhibited excellent mechanical properties with a yield strength of 202 MPa and a joint efficiency of 92%. The microstructure analysis via EPMA and EBSD in conjunction with synchrotron X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that precipitates and increased dislocation density in the fusion zone are primary strengthening mechanisms for the laser welded AZ80 Mg alloy.

Nonapoptotic programmed cell death (PCD) has been recognized as potential alternative target for increasing chemosensitivity and augmenting antitumor efficacy. Among various types of nonapoptotic PCD, methuosis has gotten increasing attention recently, largely due to its unique morphological features and potential implications for apoptosis-resistant tumor therapy with negligible side effects. Methuosis is characterized by cytoplasmic vacuolization initiated by sustained macropinocytosis, concomitantly, the other cytotoxic agents from extracellular fluid can be delivered into cytoplasm of tumor cell via macropinocytosis, which can profoundly strengthen the combined antitumor efficacy.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) tracking requires accurate target localization from aerial top-down perspectives while operating under the computational constraints of aerial platforms. Current mainstream UAV trackers, constrained by the limited resources, predominantly employ lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) extractor, coupled with an appearance-based fusion mechanism.
