Inequality (concentration) curves such as Lorenz, Bonferroni, Zenga curves, as well as a new inequality curve - the curve, are broadly used to analyse inequalities in wealth and income distribution in certain populations. Quantile versions of these inequality curves are more robust to outliers. We discuss several parametric estimators of quantile versions of the Zenga and curves.

Objective: Information about the level of general personality functioning could provide benefits for tailoring substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. This study examined self-reported personality functioning among patients with SUD compared to the general population, gender specifics, and the psychometric properties of the Czech Level of Personality Functioning Scale-Self Report (LPFS-SR).
Methods: Two samples were used in this study.

Ether-based electrolytes are widely acknowledged for their potential to form stable solid electrolyte interfaces (SEIs) for stable anode performance. However, conventional ether-based electrolytes have shown a tendency for cation-solvent co-intercalation phenomena on graphite electrodes, resulting in lower capacity and higher voltage platforms compared to those of neat cation insertion in ester-based electrolytes. In response, we propose the development of weakly solvating ether solvents to weaken the interaction between cations and solvents, thereby suppressing co-intercalation behavior.
