Background: Sarcomas are rare cancer with a heterogeneous group of tumors. They affect both genders across all age groups and present significant heterogeneity, with more than 70 histological subtypes. Despite tailored treatments, the high metastatic potential of sarcomas remains a major factor in poor patient survival, as metastasis is often the leading cause of death.

Pericardial effusion (PCE) represents a significant postoperative complication following congenital heart surgery (CHS), contributing to more complex postoperative care and heightened morbidity. In this study, we aim to elucidate the risk factors contributing to PCE development post-CHS through analysis of data from a nationwide, multi-institutional database. Review of the Pediatric Health Information System Database from January 1, 2004, to December 30, 2023.

Objective: To investigate the prognostic significance of concurrent monitoring of serum S100 calcium-binding protein A12 (S100A12) and optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) in patients with traumatic intracranial hematoma.
Methods: This prospective observational study included 198 patients with traumatic intracranial hematoma from Xingtai Central Hospital (February 2022-June 2024). Serum S100A12 and ONSD were measured at admission and postoperatively, and patients received minimally invasive therapy.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) represent a promising therapeutic approach in gynecologic cancers, particularly ovarian and cervical malignancies. Agents such as mirvetuximab soravtansine, and tisotumab vedotin, targeting folate receptor alpha and tissue factor, respectively, reported clinical efficacy in patients with limited options. However, their use is associated with ocular toxicities, including keratopathy, blurred vision, and dry eye, which may impact adherence and quality of life.

Introduction: Hypertension, the most common adverse events associated with bevacizumab (BEV) treatment, has been proposed as a potential biomarker of treatment response in glioblastoma (GBM) patients. This study aimed to evaluate whether the timing of hypertension serves as a prognostic value in GBM patients.
Methods: This retrospective study consisting of 56 GBM patients treated with initial BEV between 2013 and 2024.
