Introduction: Chronic Bronchitis (CB) represents a phenotype of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). While several definitions have been used for diagnosis, the relationship between clinical definitions and radiologic assessment of bronchial disease (BD) has not been well studied. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between three clinical definitions of CB and radiographic findings of BD in spirometry-defined COPD patients.
Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was performed from a COPD phenotyping study. It was a prospective observational cohort. Participants had spirometry-defined COPD and available chest CT imaging. Comparison between CB definitions, Medical Research Council (CB), St. George's Respiratory Questionnaire (CB), COPD Assessment Test (CB) and CT findings were performed using Cohen's Kappa, univariate and multivariate logistic regressions.
Results: Of 112 participants, 83 met inclusion criteria. Demographics included age of 70.1 ± 7.0 years old, predominantly male (59.0 %), 45.8 ± 30.8 pack-year history, 21.7 % actively smoking, and mean FEV 61.5 ± 21.1 %. With MRC, SGRQ and CAT definitions, 22.9 %, 36.6 % and 28.0 % had CB, respectively. BD was more often present in CB compared to non-CB patients; however, it did not have a statistically significant relationship between any of the CB definitions. CB had better agreement with radiographically assessed BD compared to the other two definitions.
Conclusion: Identification of BD on CT was associated with the diagnoses of CB. However, agreement between imaging and definitions were not significant, suggesting radiologic findings of BD and criteria defining CB may not identify the same COPD phenotype. Research to standardize imaging and clinical methods is needed for more objective identification of COPD phenotypes.

Recent Findings: The widespread use of imaging modalities in recent years has led to frequent discovery of incidental thyroid nodules. These nodules are mostly benign (over 90%), hence precise insight in evaluating nodules of concern and following up other nodules is important to avoid unnecessary surgeries and its complications.

Introduction: The association between Fibromyalgia (FM) and the FMR1 gene premutation has been suggested, but remains inconclusively established. Previous studies often focus on whether women with FM have the FMR1 premutation, while a more appropriate approach would involve examining FM manifestation in women with the premutation. FM is a condition with multifactorial etiology, and while the rarity of the FMR1 premutation makes it unlikely that most FM cases are linked to this variation, an increased prevalence of FM among premutation carriers is still plausible.

The concept of complex trauma (or developmental trauma) has been proposed to refer both to chronic exposure to interpersonal experiences in children and adolescents and to the constellation of possible sequelae that cause significant difficulties throughout life. The purpose of this chapter is to provide an overview of the theoretical and clinical approaches to complex trauma in order to better understand the scope of this concept. Through a review of the literature, this chapter outlines the historical evolution of this concept, its current definition, the diagnostic issues involved, and the preferred directions for its future use in research and clinical practice.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the performance of ChatGPT (GPT-4o) in interpreting free-text breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reports by assigning BI-RADS categories and recommending appropriate clinical management steps in the absence of explicitly stated BI-RADS classifications.
Methods: In this retrospective, single-center study, a total of 352 documented full-text breast MRI reports of at least one identifiable breast lesion with descriptive imaging findings between January 2024 and June 2025 were included in the study. Incomplete reports due to technical limitations, reports describing only normal findings, and MRI examinations performed at external institutions were excluded from the study.
