Good fortune can be attributed to many sources, including other people, personal efforts, and various theistic and nontheistic supernatural forces (e.g., God, karma). Four studies (total = 4,579) of religiously diverse samples from the United States and the United Kingdom investigated the distinct emotional reactions to recalled positive experiences attributed to natural and supernatural benefactors. We found that the hallmarks of interpersonal gratitude (e.g., thankfulness, admiration, indebtedness) were reported when believers attributed their good fortune to a personal, benevolent God. However, a distinct emotional profile arose when participants attributed good fortune to the process of karmic payback, which was associated with relatively less gratitude but with higher scores for feelings of pride and deservingness. These results were partially explained by participants' attributions of positive experiences to an external agent (e.g., God) versus a universal law or internal factors as in the case of karma. We conclude that diverse spiritual beliefs influence causal attributions for good fortune, which, in turn, predict distinct emotional responses. Background: Remote services (in which the patient and staff member are not physically colocated) and digital services (in which a patient encounter is digitally mediated in some way) were introduced extensively when the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. We undertook a longitudinal qualitative study of the introduction, embedding, evolution and abandonment of remote and digital innovations in United Kingdom general practice. This synoptic paper summarises study design, methods, key findings, outputs and impacts to date.

Study Question: Can a prediction model classify IVF patients into distinct prognostic groups based on their expected yield of euploid blastocysts?
Summary Answer: Five distinct prognostic groups were identified, with chance of obtaining at least one euploid blastocyst ranging from <1% to 2% in very poor to ∼95% in very good prognosis groups.
What Is Known Already: Euploid blastocyst yield is a critical determinant of IVF success. While female age strongly influences embryo euploidy, other factors like ovarian reserve markers, partner age, and BMI may also contribute.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA)-a condition characterized by hair loss due to aging, autoimmune responses, stress, and other factors-results in hair follicle (HF) shrinkage and dermal papilla cell apoptosis. So far, only minoxidil (MXD) and finasteride have been approved for AGA treatment. However, both drugs have serious side effects, including hypersensitivity and sexual dysfunction.
