Fusarium species are transkingdom pathogens involved in invasive fungal infections in immunocompromised patients. Despite high minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs), voriconazole (VRZ) is the antifungal recommended as a first-line treatment for this infection. The objective of this study was to use larvae of the invertebrate Galleria mellonella to describe invasive Fusarium infection, evaluate the virulence profiles of a set of strains and determine the response of Fusarium to antifungal treatment.

Background: Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) allows for precise excision of skin cancers with intraoperative histologic margin assessment. Incidental findings-unexpected histopathologic features unrelated to the primary lesion-are occasionally discovered but scantily characterized in the literature.
Objective: To systematically review published cases of incidental histologic findings identified during MMS, with attention to their frequency, clinical implications, and management.

Introduction: Nuclear receptor-binding SET domain 3 (NSD3) has been implicated as a driver of lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) in preclinical studies. However, its clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic significance remain unclear. To address this, we performed histopathological analysis of patient tissues.

Background: Recurrent melanocytic nevi are benign melanocytic proliferations that occur after incomplete excision of a nevus. Their atypical clinical and histopathologic features complicate diagnosis, especially without knowledge of prior biopsy. The PRAME (PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma) immunohistochemical stain has been increasingly used to support a diagnosis of melanoma, however, its utility in recurrent melanocytic nevi is not well established.
