Vehicular emissions are considered one of the major anthropogenic sources of greenhouse gases and poor air quality in metropolitan cities. This study aims to see the correlation of CO, CH, and CO through monitoring over a period from December 2020 to October 2021 covering three seasons' winter, summer, and monsoon at two different traffic locations of Delhi having different traffic volumes, road patterns, and traffic management. The annual average morning concentration of CO, CH and CO was found (533 ± 105), (7.3 ± 3.1), (10.7 ± 3.0) ppm at Najafgarh and (480 ± 70), (5.2 ± 1.8), (7.8 ± 2.8) ppm at Rajendra Place, respectively. A relationship between concentration of all three gases and meteorological parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction has also been investigated using Pearson correlation coefficient and pollution rose diagram. A comparable pattern in concentration was observed for all three gases in spatial (location) and temporal (diurnal) distribution. The concentration trend of CO in different seasons is winter > summer > monsoon, while in the case of CH winter = summer > monsoon but not any seasonal trend was noted in CO case. It is observed that CO has a good relation with CO (a tracer for vehicular emission) in terms of diurnal variation, whereas, CH does not represent a relation with CO and CO diurnally, suggesting that vehicles are the source of CO but not much contributing to other greenhouse gases like CH

The German Federal Ex Situ Genebank for Agricultural and Horticultural Crops (IPK) harbours over 3000 pea plant genetic resources (PGRs), backed up by corresponding information across 16 key agronomic and economical traits. The unbalanced structure and inconsistent format of this historical data has precluded effective leverage of genebank accessions, despite the opportunities contained in its genetic diversity. Therefore, a three-step statistical approach founded in linear mixed models was implemented to enable a rigorous and targeted data curation.

The Atlantification of the Arctic is driving a northward habitat shift of many cetaceans, including sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus). As Arctic warming continues to decrease sea ice extent and contributes to the change in species distributions, it is crucial to study how the distribution patterns, habitat, and the demographic structure of sperm whale populations may continue to change. In this study, we assess the temporal presence of echolocating sperm whales on the continental slope southwest of the Svalbard archipelago and compare it with acoustic backscatter and temperature as a proxy for biomass.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of some environment- and animal-based factors, such as body condition score (BCS) on 15-20 days before parturition, parity, and calving season on colostrum dry matter (DM), fat, solids-nonfat (SNF), protein, and lactose contents as well as colostrum and calf's serum immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, and IgM), IGF-1, and lactoferrin concentrations in buffaloes. Therefore, the components of colostrum (at the first milking) and calf serum samples (at 24-48 h and 28 days after birth) from 86 Anatolian buffalo cows were analyzed by an infrared milk analyzer and ELISA test. The high BCS enhanced colostrum DM, fat, and IgG content; calf serum IgG concentration at 24-48 h, and lactoferrin at 28 days compared to low BCS.
