are flagellated protozoa that have been increasingly associated with upper and lower airway infection in humans. The prevalence and characterization of this disease in the critically ill remains poorly understood. We present a series of eleven ICU patients with confirmed spp. identification in respiratory samples.

Invasive Candidiasis infections are a clinical challenge, with limited effective therapeutic agents and increasing resistance. The discovery of new antifungal agents is urgently required. Here, we developed a new series of 2-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone (Menadione) Tethered to 1H-1,2,3-triazolyl-selenoester in good yields, which exhibit antifungal potential activity against Candida species.

Background: Ear canker in domestic rabbits is caused by infestations of non-burrowing parasitic mites, Psoroptes spp., but the specific species responsible for these infestations remains unclear. This study reports the clinical signs and performs the molecular characterization and phylogenetic analysis of Psoroptes ovis isolated from the ear canal of a domestic rabbit in South India.

Unlabelled: The environmental pollution from the misuse of antimicrobial drugs is fueling selection pressure in bacteria, thereby exacerbating the threat to global health. In Iraq, the situation is made worse by the poor implementation of the World Health Organization's Global Antimicrobial Resistance and Use Surveillance System (WHO-GLASS). Consequently, this study aimed to increase surveillance of the spread of antimicrobial resistance in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.

Background And Aim: Hospital effluents are a major source of environmental contaminants, harboring pathogenic bacteria, toxic trace metals, and high organic loads. This study aimed to evaluate the bacteriological and physicochemical profiles of wastewater discharged from three coastal hospitals in Oran, Algeria, and to assess the associated public and livestock health risks under the One Health approach.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from January 2023 to February 2024, involving monthly sampling at three hospitals and one drainage collector.
