Understanding the intricate interplay between disorder and superconductivity has become a key area of research in condensed matter physics, with profound implications for materials science. Recent studies have shown that spatial correlations of disorder potential can improve superconductivity, prompting a re-evaluation of some theoretical models. This paper explores the influence of disorder correlations on the fundamental properties of superconducting systems, going beyond the traditional assumption of spatially uncorrelated disorder. In particular, we investigate the influence of disorder correlations on key spectroscopic superconductor properties, including the density of states, as well as on the matrix elements of the superconducting coupling constant and their impact on the localization length. Our findings offer valuable insights into the role of disorder correlations in shaping the behavior of superconducting materials.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical characteristics, social deprivation, insurance coverage, and medication use across regional subsets of patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in the US.
Methods: A cross-sectional study of PsA patients in the Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) registry between January 2020 and March2023 was conducted. Distribution of high disease activity (HDA - RAPID3>12), high comorbidity (RxRisk ≥90 percentile), high Area Deprivation Index (ADI ≥80), insurance coverage, prednisone ≥10mg daily, and all DMARD therapies across geographic regions were evaluated.

Background: Fetal tachycardias can cause adverse fetal outcomes including ventricular dysfunction, hydrops, and fetal demise. Postnatally, ECG is the gold standard, but, in fetal practice, echocardiography is used most frequently to diagnose and monitor fetal arrhythmias. Noninvasive extraction of the fetal ECG (fECG) may provide additional information about the electrophysiological mechanism and monitoring of intermittent arrhythmias.

Objective: This study investigated the relationship of maternal serum uric acid, cystatin C (CysC), and coagulation indices [international normalized ratio (INR) and fibrinogen (FIB)] during pregnancy with clinical features and prognosis of early-onset pre-eclampsia.
Methods: Patients with pre-eclampsia (n = 133) were retrospectively selected, with clinical features and maternal uric acid, CysC, INR, and FIB levels collected. The relationship between clinical features and maternal uric acid, CysC, INR, and FIB was analyzed by Pearson's and Spearman's analyses.

Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is a medical emergency that needs immediate diagnosis and treatment. Podoplanin, a transmembrane glycoprotein that binds CLEC-2 on platelets, was recently demonstrated to be abnormally expressed in leukemic blasts in APL, as opposed to other forms of AML, in a study using thawed primary cells. This study aimed to explore and validate the diagnostic accuracy of measuring podoplanin expression by flow cytometry in the differential diagnosis of APL and other forms of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) as part of the diagnostic work-up of all cases suspected of AML in an academic hematology center.
