•Outcomes of surgical aortic valve replacement + coronary artery bypass grafting vs. transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) + percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in severe aortic stenosis and coronary artery disease patients.•TAVR + PCI had lower 30-day acute kidney injury and bleeding, similar 2-year mortality/stroke.

Endoscopic ultrasonography-guided biliary drainage has been reported as an alternative technique when transpapillary endoscopic biliary drainage fails. This case study describes a case of pseudoaneurysm, one of the complications unique to endoscopic ultrasonography-guided biliary drainage. An 87-year-old woman who underwent endoscopic ultrasonography-guided hepaticojejunostomy with a partially covered metallic stent developed hematochezia.

Unlabelled: -butyl cyanoacrylate is a liquid embolic material used to treat bleeding. Rebleeding may occur after -butyl cyanoacrylate embolization due to vasospasm and dilation of the embolized artery. However, the impact of vasospasm on -butyl cyanoacrylate embolization has not been fully investigated.

Arterial esophageal hemorrhage, a relatively rare condition, necessitates prompt therapeutic intervention. The esophageal arteries, originating directly from the aorta and being extremely narrow, are often difficult to identify through angiography alone. We report two cases of arterial esophageal hemorrhage related to esophageal cancer in which the esophageal arteries were identified by contrast-enhanced computed tomography prior to angiography, enabling successful transcatheter arterial embolization.

Background: In transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), there is a notable "diabetes discrepancy", where worse/better/similar outcomes were all found for patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Such divergent findings pose a challenge for clinicians to accurately assess the risks for DM patients undergoing TAVR. We hypothesized the presence of chronic complications could be linked to worse post-TAVR outcomes in DM patients.
