This case study reports the first documented use of stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG)-guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation (RFTC) to treat refractory status epilepticus (RSE). A 33-year-old woman with drug-resistant epilepsy and recurrent RSE underwent SEEG to define her epileptogenic zone.
