Introduction: Absence of language development is a condition encountered across a large range of neurodevelopmental disorders, including a significant proportion of children with autism spectrum disorder. The neurobiological underpinnings of non-verbal ASD (nvASD) remain poorly understood.
Methods: This study employed multimodal MRI to investigate white matter (WM) microstructural abnormalities in nvASD, focusing on language-related pathways.

Longitudinal extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) is a rare adverse event after vaccination. We present a case of severe myelitis in a 76-year-old man with positive anti-recoverin antibodies that occurred one week after RSVPreF3 vaccination against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The patient presented with severe spastic paraparesis, urinary retention, postural tremor of the upper extremities, hypesthesia, severely impaired proprioception and vibration sense in the lower extremities, and tonic spasms of the lower extremities.

Background: Patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorder (SSD) suffer from impaired cognitive functions. Previous studies in healthy individuals have shown that a single bout of physical exercise benefits cognitive functions. Such enhancements in cognitive function would be highly beneficial, particularly for patients with SSD, as cognitive abilities play a vital role in both mental and physical health.
