Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH, Forestier's disease) is a rare non-inflammatory degenerative-dystrophic disease of the musculoskeletal system, characterized by calcification of ligaments and tendons, in particular the anterior longitudinal ligament. It is rare, more often among men over 60 years old. When the cervical spine is affected, DISH manifests itself as neck pain, stiffness of movement, dysphagia and, in some cases, difficulty breathing.

Background And Objectives: Wilson's disease (WD) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder due to abnormal hepatic copper transport, leading to copper accumulation in the liver, brain, and other tissues. Although conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features are valuable for diagnosis, the role of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) remains underexplored in WD. The study aims to assess the prevalence and clinical correlates of diffusion restriction on MRI in WD.

Purpose: We conducted a prospective, single-institution phase II trial to test the hypothesis that the addition of nivolumab to definitive chemoradiation would improve the progression-free survival (PFS) among patients with high-risk p16+ oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC).
Methods And Materials: Patients with previously-untreated locoregionally advanced, p16+ OPSCC (clinical T4/N3, matted lymph nodes, and/or retropharyngeal lymphadenopathy) were enrolled. Patients received a priming dose of nivolumab, concurrent nivolumab and chemoradiation (70 Gy to PTVhigh, 56 Gy to PTVlow, weekly carboplatin/paclitaxel), and 4 cycles of adjuvant nivolumab over 12 weeks.

A 19-year-old transgender adolescent on hormonal therapy with a history of recent hospitalization for exudative tonsillitis presented with worsening sore throat, dysphagia, fever, and a diffuse, generalized macular rash involving the back, face, abdomen, arms, and legs. Despite prior antibiotic treatment with amoxicillin, her symptoms recurred, prompting further evaluation. Laboratory findings revealed leukocytosis with lymphocytic and monocytic predominance, elevated inflammatory markers, and a positive Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) test, confirming infectious mononucleosis.
