Primary bone tumours remain among the most challenging indications in radiation oncology-not because of anatomical size or distribution, but because curative intent demands ablative dosing alongside stringent normal-tissue preservation. Over the past decade, the therapeutic landscape has shifted markedly. Proton and carbon-ion centres now report durable local control with acceptable late toxicity in unresectable sarcomas.

Background: Stimulated Raman histology (SRH) is a novel microscopic technique allowing real-time, label free, high-resolution microscopic images of unprocessed, unsectioned tissue. Tissue samples are imaged in the operating room using a mobile SRH microscope. Due to SRH's pseudocoloring, the images appear like conventional H&E staining.

Introduction: An objective way to monitor bone healing in real time could provide major benefits for the rehabilitation of fracture patients. The fracture monitor T1 is a novel biofeedback sensor system designed to provide continuous data of the relative implant load, that is, a measure inversely correlated to bone healing progression as well as patient's physical activities. The primary objective of this first-in-human study is to evaluate the safety, that is, the incidence of adverse device effects (ADEs), of the investigational device fracture monitor T1 in femoral fracture patients within the first 6-months postsurgery.

Introduction: Magnetic actuation of endoscopes is promising-as the endoscope can be pulled from its front. Our team developed a novel magnetic flexible endoscope (MFE) that uses magnetic field sensing, robotic control, and real-time image processing for colonoscopy. We conducted a Phase 1 first-in-human clinical trial to assess platform safety and tolerability.

Significance: The definitive treatment for pituitary adenoma is transsphenoidal surgical resection. Conventional white light imaging shows limited contrast between the adenoma and the pituitary gland, and only the tissue surface is visualized, leaving a pressing unmet need for improved intraoperative adenoma delineation to preserve pituitary function during surgery.
Aim: To evaluate the potential of multispectral imaging to enhance visualization of adenoma during transsphenoidal resection.
