Background: Despite the benefits of cardiac rehabilitation (CR), women are under-represented, especially in lower-income settings. Technology may be leveraged to tailor CR to better engage women, but this has never been tested in a middle-income country. Background: The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) accredits postgraduate medical education programs in Saudi Arabia to ensure they provide quality training that meets professional outcomes per national and international standards. Research activities should be tailored to meet the training needs of postgraduate trainees to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice. These activities should assist trainees in selecting the appropriate methodology for their research, gathering and interpreting data, and evaluating the outcomes of previous research before clinical implementation.

Background: High-quality patient care necessitates knowledge of health disparities and strategies for cultural humility, yet no widely accepted health equity curriculum is available for general surgery residents. We developed such a curriculum based on adult learning theory and local public health priorities.
