The research paper mainly deals with waste heat recovery from internal combustion engines (ICE) using the organic Rankine cycle (ORC) and Thermoelectric generator (TEG). Simultaneously recovering the wasted heat of both exhaust gases and coolant, a novel configuration named two-stage is proposed. Then a comprehensive thermo-economic analysis and optimization are conducted. Produced power and total cost rate are selected as the objective function of the optimization. Also, the first and second stage pressures of the ORC system are considered as decision variables. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is performed to study the effect of expander inlet temperature, pumps isentropic efficiency, and expander isentropic efficiency on the objective function.

Introduction/background: Complex articular fractures around the knee in the elderly patient present an ongoing challenge regarding optimal treatment. While extensive research has evaluated immediate arthroplasty following fracture of the proximal femur, distal femur, proximal humerus, and elbow, relatively little focus has been given to immediate arthroplasty following complex tibia plateau fractures.
Methods: As seen with many other fractures, arthroplasty can shorten recovery and hospital stay and allow early weight-bearing with improved mobility while minimizing complications and possible future conversion arthroplasty cost.

Purpose: To assess the characteristics and effectiveness of low-cost platelet-rich plasma (LC-PRP) for knee osteoarthritis (OA) by evaluating its composition and effect on pain, function, satisfaction, safety and cost-effectiveness.
Methods: Level IV evidence single-arm prospective cohort pilot study of 20 subjects (30 knees total) with mild-to-moderate knee OA. Two LC-PRP injections were performed, 3 weeks apart.

This is a case of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) in a 75-year-old male patient with a history of metastatic melanoma, who initially presented with a syncopal episode causing a fall. Following stabilization in the emergency department (ED), the patient was found to have bilateral subdural hematomas, and later an MRI showed evidence of metastatic lesions in the brain with hemorrhagic conversion. These findings led to a prolonged inpatient stay in the intensive care unit and eventual development of pneumonitis, which was subsequently treated with hepatotoxic antibiotics despite initial labs showing mildly elevated liver enzymes.

Aims: To assess the impact of 3D radiotherapy with cisplatin on the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status and quality of life in terms of acute side effects among head and neck cancer patients.
Methodology: After obtaining the hospital's ethical approval, 106 head and neck cancer patients were enrolled at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, Lahore, Pakistan.

Vaping product use-associated lung injury is a recently recognized respiratory illness that can occur in users of e-cigarettes or vaping products, including those marketed as nicotine‑free. We describe a previously healthy, 22‑year‑old male, non‑smoker who presented with progressive shortness of breath, non‑productive cough, pleuritic chest pain, low‑grade fever, and fatigue. He reported daily use of a flavored nicotine‑free vaping device for eight months, with increased use in the preceding month, including cartridges purchased from unregulated online sources.
