Venous malformations can cause substantial morbidity and long-term complications. There are no Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved therapies for the treatment of venous malformations. However, off-label use of sirolimus has demonstrated clinical benefit in these patients.

Background: Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) represents an aggressive cancer type associated with poor prognosis, often treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) using cisplatin-based regimens. However, cisplatin resistance limits therapeutic efficacy, necessitating a deeper understanding of resistance mechanisms. L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1) plays a crucial role in amino acid uptake and is linked to cancer cell survival through activation of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway.

Background: Diabetic vascular complications present significant clinical challenges, including limited treatment efficacy, high postoperative restenosis rates, and delayed early diagnosis. This study investigates CXCR4-modified adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AMSCs/CXCR4) in regulating pathological endothelial proliferation under hyperglycemic conditions.

Aims: The purpose is to provide new mechanism insights and potential therapeutic targets for early intervention of diabetes-related vascular diseases.

Background And Aim: This study aimed to explore the effect and potential mechanism of mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) in vascular impairment in mice with metabolic disorders(obesity and hypertension).

Methods And Results: C57BL/6 mice were used in this study. D12492 were used to fed the mice for obesity for more than 4 months and AngII was used to induce hypertension.

Purpose: To investigate the role of the lamina cribrosa (LC) astrocytes in the autoregulatory capacity of optic nerve head (ONH) vessels and to explore the underlying molecular mechanisms.

Methods: The Oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion model (OGD/R) was constructed to examine the changes in cell morphology and protein expression in LC astrocytes. LC astrocytes were co-cultured with vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) to detect the role of LC astrocytes in the autoregulatory function of vessels.
