Hydrogenolysis is an effective method for converting polyolefins into high-value chemicals. For the supported catalysts commonly used, the size of active metals is of great importance. In this study, it is discovered that the activity of CeO -supported Ru single atom, nanocluster, and nanoparticle catalysts shows a volcanic trend in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) hydrogenolysis. Compared with CeO supported Ru single atoms and nanoparticles, CeO -supported Ru nanoclusters possess the highest conversion efficiency, as well as the best selectivity toward liquid alkanes. Through comprehensive investigations, the metal-support interactions (MSI) and hydrogen spillover effect are revealed as the two key factors in the reaction. On the one hand, the MSI is strongly related to the Ru surface states and the more electronegative Ru centers are beneficial to the activation of CH and CC bonds. On the other hand, the hydrogen spillover capability directly affects the affinity of catalysts and active H atoms, and increasing this affinity is advantageous to the hydrogenation of alkane species. Decreasing the Ru sizes can promote the MSI, but it can also reduce the hydrogen spillover effect. Therefore, only when the two effects achieve a balance, as is the case in CeO -supported Ru nanoclusters, can the hydrogenolysis activity be promoted to the optimal value.

Introduction: The study explores shared genetic architecture among major psychiatric disorders-major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress disorder-emphasizing their overlapping molecular pathways. Using public datasets, we identified shared genes and examined their functional implications through protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks and gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA).
Methods: Genes associated with each disorder were identified through the NCBI Gene database.

Objectives: In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), non-invasive alternatives to biopsy-dependent driver mutation analysis are needed. We reviewed the effectiveness of radiomics alone or with clinical data and assessed the performance of artificial intelligence (AI) models in predicting oncogene mutation status.
Materials And Methods: A PRISMA-compliant literature review for studies predicting oncogene mutation status in NSCLC patients using radiomics was conducted by a multidisciplinary team.

Conventional acid-catalyzed acetalization faces significant challenges in catalyst recovery and poses environmental concerns. Herein, we develop a CeO-supported Pd single-atom catalyst (Pd/CeO) that eliminates the reliance on liquid acids by creating a localized H-rich microenvironment through heterolytic H activation. X-ray absorption near-edge structure and extended X-ray absorption fine structure analyses confirm the atomic dispersion of Pd via Pd-O-Ce coordination, while density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal strong metal-support interactions (SMSI) that facilitate electron transfer from CeO oxygen to Pd, downshifting the Pd d-band center and optimizing H activation.

Introduction: TNM staging systems create prognostic categories by anatomic extent of disease. Whether therapeutically important molecular alterations in NSCLC augment the prognostic information of TNM staging is unclear. To study this, we analyzed molecular data from the ninth edition of the lung cancer staging system.
