We present the case of a physically active 50-year-old patient who underwent an arthroscopic release of the iliopsoas tendon due to a snapping hip. Postoperatively, active hip flexion was severely weakened. As a consequence patient had no stable gait pattern and was unable to continue her sports and physical activities.

We wish to comment on the recent case report by Quintana-Cepedal et al. which highlights successful conservative management of a complete adductor longus rupture in a football player. In our retrospective cohort of 111 athletes with MRI-confirmed adductor lesions, we similarly observed high return-to-sport rates following structured exercise therapy, comparable to injection-based interventions.

Purpose: To evaluate postoperative changes in corneal topographic parameters and higher-order aberrations (HOAs) following Müller muscle-conjunctival resection (MMCR) in patients with mild-to-moderate ptosis.

Methods: This prospective clinical study included patients who underwent MMCR after a positive phenylephrine test and with good levator function who were evaluated. Preoperative and postoperative best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), margin reflex distance 1 and corneal parameters (flat meridian, steep meridian, simulated keratometry, maximum keratometry), along with HOAs including coma, trefoil, spherical aberration, secondary astigmatism and quadrifoil, were assessed at week 1, month 1 and month 3.

The rehapro model project 'Employment Entry Incentive' (ESP), a bonus scheme designed to encourage individuals with long-term health impairments to take up regular employment.
