Article Abstract
Estrogen-receptor positive tumours represent the majority of breast cancers in postmenopausal women. Adjuvant endocrine therapy with aromatase inhibitors (AIs), continued for up to 10 years in high-risk patients, reduces by 40% the risk of recurrence. However, this therapy, among other side effects, is burdened with a higher incidence of osteoporotic bone fractures. To date, both bisphosphonates and denosumab are recognized as first-line drugs in the primary prevention of osteoporotic fractures in patients treated with AIs. They have demonstrated their effectiveness in increasing bone mineral density and in reducing the incidence of fractures, but they have also been shown to improve disease free survival (DFS).

Moyamoya syndrome (MMS) is a chronic vasculopathy characterized by progressive stenosis of intracerebral arteries, leading to an increased risk of stroke. Children with Down syndrome (DS) are at an increased risk of co-occurring medical conditions, including MMS and leukemia. Objectives: This study aims to assess periodontal and biochemical parameters and evaluate the salivary Protectin D1 levels in periodontitis patients with and without metabolic syndrome after non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Materials And Methods: Forty patients were categorized into two groups: 20 patients in Group P (systemically healthy patients with stage II/III grade B periodontitis) and 20 patients in Group P+MS (patients with stage II/III grade B periodontitis and metabolic syndrome). Parameters including age, gender, height, weight, body mass index, waist circumference, socio-economic status, oral hygiene index (OHI), modified gingival index (MGI), probing pocket depth, clinical attachment levels, fasting blood glucose, HDL-c, total triglycerides, and blood pressure were recorded.

Objectives: To balance the extended functional urinary voiding and morbidity outcomes amid Ileal W and Y-shaped contrasted to spherical ileocoecal (IC) orthotopic bladders subsequent prostate-sparing radical cystectomy (PRC) versus standard radical cystoprostatectomy (RC).
Material And Methods: Two hundred eight male bladder cancer patients were grouped into 98 RC followed by 43-W, 31-Y, and 23-IC in comparison to 110 PRC followed by 35-W, 37-Y, and 38-IC. The functional voiding outcomes were determined by detailed patients' interview and urodynamic studies (UDS).
