In this study, a novel dual-function probe BMP based on benzothiazole was easily synthesized and characterized through common optical technique. In the system consisting of DMF/HO (v/v, 2/3), probe BMP showed azure and blue-green to Al and Ga, respectively. Besides, the binding ratios of BMP to Al and Ga were determined as 1:1, which confirmed by Job's plot. Furthermore, for Al and Ga, the limit of detection (LOD) was determined to be 1.51 × 10 M and 4.28 × 10 M, respectively. Moreover, it was worth noting that BMP showed good performances in paper colorimetry, cell phone colorimetric identification and cell imaging.

Unlabelled: Methicillin-resistant (MRSA) is a leading cause of endovascular infections, where interactions with endothelial cells play a critical role in pathogenesis. Gp05, a prophage-encoded protein, has previously been implicated in promoting antibiotic persistence by modulating MRSA cellular physiology and evading neutrophil-mediated killing. In this study, we investigated the role of Gp05 in MRSA-endothelial cell interactions, focusing on its impact on bacterial adhesion, invasion, cytotoxicity, and the host inflammatory response.

Ulcerative colitis (UC), a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), is characterized by disruption of intestinal barrier function and complex inflammatory manifestations locally and systemically. Although anti-tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) agents such as Infliximab (IFX) are effective in treating IBD, their intestinal tissue concentration has been regarded as determinant of therapeutic efficacy while was restrained by the large molecular weight. Considering the enhanced expression of human neonatal Fc receptor (hFcRn) in UC tissues, we attempted to deliver the therapeutic entity of IFX into UC tissues by developing a novel dual-acting IFX Fab-F8 (IFX-F8) fusion protein for UC treatment.

Famotidine (FMD) is an H₂-receptor antagonist with limited oral bioavailability and a short plasma half-life (2.5-4 h). Silk fibroin-chitosan nanoparticles (FBN-CS-NPs) represent a novel nanocarrier approach for treating peptic ulcers, combining biocompatibility, mucoadhesiveness, and pH-sensitive release.

Using Affinity Selection-Mass Spectrometry (AS-MS) screening, we identified As48, a novel small molecule that binds TREM2 with high affinity. Biophysical validation confirmed s 7-fold selectivity over TREM1.

Strontium (Sr) is a bone-seeking element characterized by its dual function of stimulating bone growth and preventing bone resorption. On the other hand, alginates (Alg) have distinct physicochemical characteristics from other natural polysaccharides because of their ability to encapsulate proteins and drugs. This work aimed to prepare novel hybrid inorganic/organic strontium alginate (Sr-Alg) nanoparticles for use as a targeting ligand in bone regeneration.
