Background: Sperm granuloma is a rare disease in clinical andrology and its incidence is still unclear worldwide. According to the existing literature, sperm granuloma often occurs unilaterally. Clinical and ultrasound features are similar to epididymal tuberculosis, chronic epididymitis and other diseases. Sperm granuloma is usually diagnosed based on postoperative histopathological and immunohistochemical examination.
Case Summary: A 46-year-old man was admitted to the hospital due to the presence of a left scrotal mass for 3 mo and aggravation of pain for 1 wk. The lesions at both sites were surgically resected. Postoperative pathological examination showed that the left spermatic cord mass and the right epididymal mass were consistent with sperm granuloma. The sperm granulomas then recurred 3 mo after surgery. There is little change in the local mass so far.
Conclusion: The case report is helpful for our understanding of this disease. In clinical diagnosis, it should be distinguished from epididymal tuberculosis, chronic epididymitis and other diseases. Color Doppler ultrasound can be used as a preferred examination method but postoperative pathological examination is still needed for diagnosis.

Background: Two-suture longitudinal intussusception vasoepididymostomy (LIVE) surgery has been confirmed by many studies in the treatment of epididymal obstruction; however, the success rate and anastomotic patency rate are not high, which cannot meet the modern human demand for a cure rate for this disease. Based on our preliminary research, we have reason to speculate that the new 2-suture circular intussusception vasoepididymostomy (CIVE) surgery group can greatly improve the anastomosis rate and success rate of treating epididymal obstruction patients. LIVE has become the preferred technique for epididymal and vas deferens anastomosis in North America, Europe, and globally for 22 years.

Purpose Of Review: Schistosomiasis affects over 250 million individuals worldwide and has been associated with infertility, which can harm the mental, physical, and social well being of individuals. This review aims to summarize the multiple ways in which schistosome infection can affect fertility in females and males, through functional, hormonal, and systemic processes.
Recent Findings: Schistosome infection causes functional genital tract damage through granuloma formation and fibrosis, which can lead to organ damage and obstruction in the male and female genital tracts.

The present study aimed to describe gastric lesions associated with parasitism by different nematodes of the family Anisakidae in a stranded specimen of dwarf sperm whale () on the northeast coast of the State of Pará, northern Brazil. Specimens of helminths and samples of stomach tissue were collected from a dwarf sperm whale, stranded on Humaitá beach, State of Pará, Brazil. Stomach showed areas of erosion and ulcers, with the mucosa covered by fibrinonecrotic material containing bacteria and inflammatory infiltrate predominantly comprising polymorphonuclear cells.
