Existing patient-reported outcome measures cannot comprehensively capture the full impact of living with a dermatological condition. The aim of this study was to develop a conceptual framework on which to build a new Patient-Reported Impact of Dermatological Diseases (PRIDD) measure. Adults (≥ 18 years of age) living with a dermatological condition, worldwide and/or representatives from a patient organization recruited via a global patient organization network, were invited to an individual or group interview. Data were analyzed thematically. Sixty-five people from 29 countries, representing 29 dermatological conditions, participated. Key themes were: (i) impacts at the individual, organizational and societal levels; (ii) impacts were point-in-time and cumulative; and (iii) impact is a multifaceted construct, with two subthemes (iiia) common impacts and (iiib) psychological and social impacts are most significant. The conceptual framework shows that impact is a multifaceted concept presenting across physical, psychological, social, financial, daily functioning and healthcare, and provides the basis for co-constructing the PRIDD with patients.

At least one in five women experience sexual assault on campus, which is often associated with negative impacts on their wellbeing and education. This scoping review synthesizes strengths associated with resilience among women who have experienced campus sexual assault, using the resilience portfolio model (RPM) as a conceptual framework. We searched PubMed, PsycINFO, SocINDEX, Education Source, Open Dissertations, and Teacher Reference Center for empirical articles on resilience among campus sexual assault survivors.

In this article, "Cosmosis" introduces a newly coined metaphorical term that illustrates conceptual parallels between the physiological process of osmosis and the expansive dynamics of the cosmos. Designed as an interdisciplinary teaching framework, Cosmosis provides a novel way to link cellular homeostasis with cosmological principles such as entropy, spacetime curvature, and dark energy. By drawing on core physiological terms such as concentration gradients, osmotic pressure, aquaporins, and membrane selectivity, Cosmosis offers an analogy that may spark curiosity, support integrative thinking, and encourage cross-disciplinary dialogue in physiology and biochemistry education.

Background: As information and communication technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) become deeply integrated into daily life, the focus on users' digital well-being has grown across academic and industrial fields. However, fragmented perspectives and approaches to digital well-being in AI-powered systems hinder a holistic understanding, leaving researchers and practitioners struggling to design truly human-centered AI systems.
Objective: This paper aims to address the fragmentation by synthesizing diverse perspectives and approaches to digital well-being through a systematic literature review.

Probiotics are live beneficial microorganisms that confer health benefits to the host when administered in adequate amounts, have gained considerable scientific and commercial interest for their ability to support gut health, strengthen immunity, and reduce disease risk. This review traces the genesis of probiotic science from its origins in traditional fermented foods to contemporary clinical applications, offering a conceptual understanding of its evolution. A clear distinction is drawn between endogenous probiotics, naturally resident in the human microbiome, and exogenous probiotics, introduced via dietary supplements and functional foods.

Tools assessing waterpipe addiction are essential for understanding waterpipe smokers' behaviors and designing effective smoking cessation plans. This study aimed to develop and validate the Waterpipe Addiction, Craving, and Anticipation Scale (WACAS) and describe the specific patterns and multidimensional aspects of waterpipe smoking behavior.
