Introduction: Patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) face obstacles to recovery spanning the domains of erectile and sexual function; urinary function; and health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Numerous patient-directed questionnaires exist that serve to assist in the care of these men.
Aim: To describe patient-directed questionnaires of historical and contemporary relevance involving the evaluation and treatment of men after radical prostatectomy.
Methods: A comprehensive review of peer-reviewed publications on the topic was performed. Using PubMed, the search terms used were: "radical prostatectomy; erectile function; lower urinary tract symptoms; sexual dysfunction; urinary incontinence; and health-related quality of life.
Main Outcome Measure: We aimed to summarize questionnaires and survey devices of historical and contemporary importance for the care of men after RP.
Results: Many questionnaires have been developed specifically for, or conscripted for use in, the care of men after RP. Some of the oldest questionnaires relating to sexual function, urinary function, and general and cancer-specific QoL are important and still utilized in the routine clinical care of post-RP patients. However, recent devices that may offer clinicians a more comprehensive understanding to aid in the evaluation and care of these men.
Conclusions: Post-RP patients face numerous challenges that require a thoughtful approach, one that is broad enough to identify a variety of potential physical and emotional disturbances, yet granular enough to identify appropriate areas for intervention. While there is not a "best" questionnaire for this population, having an appropriate understanding of the current available instruments and what information they provide may help clinicians more thoroughly assess and treat these men. The profile analyses the landscape of disability sport in Ghana, tracing its historical evolution and contemporary challenges. Alongside legislative advancements and the dedication of various stakeholders, an increase in the persons with disability population has been observed. Based on data from the Ghana Statistical Service census, this demographic rose from 737,743 in 2010 to 2,098,138 in 2021, constituting 3% and 8% of the Ghanaian population in those respective years.

In this Special Issue of the Journal of Aging Studies, we endeavour to honor Roberta Maierhofer's inspiring scholarship by original research that addresses the intersections of age and gender in cultural Age/ing Studies and Critical Gerontology. From the perspective of feminist literary studies, Roberta Maierhofer introduced the term "anocriticism" in the late 1990s to analyze literature concerned with female aging processes. The contributions in this Special Issue bring together many different perspectives on the intersecting categories of age and gender, linking sociological perspectives to those of film and literary scholarship.

Background: Epidemiologic studies have linked neighborhood socioeconomic conditions to health. However, few have examined neighborhood structural investment (NSI) influences on cardiometabolic risk markers across urban environments. This study investigated whether NSI varies by historic redlining, associations between NSI and the prevalence of obesity, diabetes, and coronary heart disease (CHD) and whether redlining's effect on obesity, diabetes, and CHD prevalence are mediated by neighborhood structural investment.

Although, in principle, the Lancet article Commission on Medicine, Nazism, and the Holocaust, aims to provide medical students with a moral compass to guide the future of medical practice as a social retaining wall against anti-Semitism, it deals with the Holocaust not from a philosophical point of view, but from a pedagogical one, resorting to didactic strategies from a historiographical approach. What seemed to be a plea against the behaviour of the Nazi doctors' experiments becomes a justification of the positive law of the liberal democracies in use. However, what it ignores is of the utmost importance: that the majority of the regime's doctors were tried and sentenced for their iniquitous actions, and yet, in contemporary Western society, an even greater danger is very much present: techno-science, which, as it stands, can once again compromise the identity, dignity and very life of the human person.

The German Federal Ex Situ Genebank for Agricultural and Horticultural Crops (IPK) harbours over 3000 pea plant genetic resources (PGRs), backed up by corresponding information across 16 key agronomic and economical traits. The unbalanced structure and inconsistent format of this historical data has precluded effective leverage of genebank accessions, despite the opportunities contained in its genetic diversity. Therefore, a three-step statistical approach founded in linear mixed models was implemented to enable a rigorous and targeted data curation.
