Objective: To compare self-publication rates by editors-in-chief (EICs) of psychiatry vs. medicine journals before, during, and after their editorships.
Methods: Frequency of self-publication by 25 psychiatry EICs and 22 medicine EICs across seven journals in each specialty was determined for 5 years before, the years during, and 5 years after their tenures.

Aims: Preterm delivery (PTD) is a leading cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality. Accurate prediction is crucial for optimizing clinical outcomes, particularly in women with a short cervix. Although fetal fibronectin (FFN) is widely used to predict PTD, placental alpha-microglobulin-1 (PAMG-1) has gained attention for its potential to improve predictive accuracy.

The posterior tibial slope, used to define the angulation of the tibial plateau relative to the tibial shaft, is an important radiographic measurement that has gained significant interest recently. Increasing biomechanical and clinical literature has demonstrated the importance of evaluating posterior tibial slope due to its impact on knee kinematics. Although risk of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and graft rupture is multifactorial, studies have demonstrated that increased posterior tibial slope is likely a contributing factor.

Background: Arterial stiffness, assessed via carotid femoral pulse wave velocity (cfPWV), is a marker of vascular aging that may contribute to cognitive decline. Serum carotenoids, with antioxidant properties, may mitigate these effects, but their role in moderating neurovascular-cognitive relationships remains unclear.
Objective: This study examined: (1) associations between cfPWV and executive function, (2) the contribution of serum carotenoids in predicting cfPWV, and (3) whether carotenoids moderate the relationship between cfPWV and executive function.
