: Preeclampsia (PE) is a pregnancy-specific disease and hypertensive disorder with a multifactorial pathogenesis involving complex molecular regulatory networks. Recent studies highlight the critical role of non-coding RNAs, particularly miRNAs and lncRNAs, in PE development. This study investigates the molecular interaction between miR-7151-5p and the lncRNA and their functional contributions to PE pathogenesis.

Objective: To observe the degree of myocardial cell injury and the changes in autophagy level in rats with myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury induced by cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), and to explore the regulatory role of the long non-coding RNA-urothelial carcinoma antigen 1-microRNA-143-Notch1 axis (lncRNA-UCA1-miR-143-Notch1 axis) in myocardial I/R injury induced by CPB.
Methods: Healthy male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into the following groups using the random number method: Sham operation (Sham) group, myocardial I/R injury model group (model group), empty lentivirus group, lncRNA-UCA1 upregulation group, miR-143 downregulation group, and lncRNA-UCA1 upregulation+miR-143 upregulation group, with 9 rats in each group. The rat model of myocardial I/R injury induced by CPB was established by thoracotomy aortic ligation under cardiopulmonary bypass support; in the Sham group, only threading was performed without ligation, and other procedures were the same.
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is the most common chronic blood cancer in adults. Active NOTCH signaling in CLL is associated with poorer prognosis. Importantly, CLL patients with NOTCH1 non-coding mutations in the 3-prime untranslated region (3'UTR) manifested with a more aggressive disease course even compared to those with mutations in the NOTCH1 coding region.

Barrett's esophagus (BE) is a precancerous condition closely linked to chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease, characterized by the abnormal transformation of esophageal squamous mucosa into specialized intestinal-type epithelium, significantly elevating the risk of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC). Recurrent acidic bile reflux promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), a critical event driving malignant progression. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain incompletely understood.

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is among the most frequently diagnosed cancer types, and affected patients frequently experience poor prognostic outcomes and high mortality rates. Many genomic studies of ESCC have been performed in recent years, yet the mutational mechanisms driving ESCC and their clinical implications remain incompletely understood. In this study, paired tumor and normal tissue samples from 22 patients with ESCC were used for whole genome sequencing-based analyses of genome-wide mutational events.
