Article Abstract
This study aimed to explore the rates of motor difficulties in children from the Australian Autism Biobank, and how early motor concerns impacted on children functionally. Children with autism aged 2-7 years, including 441 with a Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale (VABS-II) motor subscale and 385 with a Mullen Scales of Early Learning (MSEL) fine motor subscale were included (n total = 514; 80% male). Approximately 60% of children on the MSEL and ~ 25% on the VABS-II had clinically significant motor impairments. More children with delayed sitting and walking motor milestones had early childhood parent reported motor difficulties (p < 0.001). Early motor delays or concerns may assist identifying individuals who will likely benefit from early ongoing developmental monitoring and early support.

Introduction: Due to its tonal and syllabic structures, Chinese speakers may encounter unique difficulties when learning native Western operatic techniques. These challenges are particularly evident in balancing pitch control, subglottic pressure, and vowel production. Objective: To compare brain activity before voluntary movement and before the same movement when it was released from suppression. This study examined the Bereitschaftspotential (BP) and beta band event-related desynchronization (bERD) during active blink suppression, contrasting these with voluntary blinking, where these EEG correlates of motor preparation are well-established.
Methods: Fifteen healthy adults performed voluntary blink and blink suppression-release tasks with EEG recording.

One of the characteristic presentations of functional neurological disorder (FND) is with motor symptoms, such as weakness and tremor. While these symptoms are both common and disabling, how they arise at a mechanistic level remains unclear. This review provides an up-to-date account of the underpinnings of motor dysfunction in FND by integrating findings from neuroimaging, physiology, genetic, brain stimulation, and behavioral studies.

This case report is the description of a devastating illness, Progressive Bulbar Palsy (PBP) of a sixty-seven years old male patient. He presented with complaints of slurred speech, hearing impairment, generalised weakness of limbs, weakened grip to hold objects in hand, difficulty to walk with normal speed, frequent dizzy feeling while walking, severe fatigue, increased anger, heaviness of head, depression, anxiety, decreased memory and headache for 1 year. When he consulted conventional medicine, in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of brain, only 'Partial empty sella' and age related mild cerebral atrophy was detected and the patient was diagnosed PBP clinically.
