This study explores effective treatment methods for chronic secondary lymphedema after radical cervical cancer surgery combined with pelvic lymphadenectomy. In cases where conservative treatment was ineffective, we investigated whether multiple injections of indocyanine green can effectively improve the outcomes of lymphatic-venous anastomosis under microscopy. Preoperative lymphatic imaging was used to localize functional vessels, guiding distal left lower limb lymphatic reconstruction.

Department of General & Neonatal Surgery, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, National Clinical Research Center for Child Health and Disorders, Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Child Development and Disorders, Chongqing Key Laboratory of Structural Birth Defect and Reconstruc

Purpose: Sex differences in Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) incidence have been well documented, yet little is known about whether the effect of sex on postoperative outcomes. This study aims to investigate the sex differences of postoperative outcomes of HSCR using propensity score matching (PSM) analysis.

Methods: Retrospective review of 304 patients with HSCR who received single-stage laparoscopic transanal pull-through modified Swenson procedure in a single-center was conducted with assessments of clinical data.

Background And Objectives: The endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) has become a key surgical method for managing midline skull base lesions, offering minimally invasive access with reduced morbidity. One of the most significant complications following EEA is cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage, especially in high-flow cases. Based on over two decades of institutional experience with 6,221 EEA procedures, this study aims to categorize and evaluate standardized reconstruction strategies based on intraoperative CSF flow rates in order to optimize outcomes and reduce postoperative complications.

Deep Lateral Femoral Notch Sign is Associated with Superficial Medial Collateral Ligament Tear in Patients with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury.

J ISAKOS

UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Medicine Center, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA, USA; Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

Objectives: The deep lateral femoral notch sign, observed in some anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, may result from valgus-compressive forces and anterior tibial translation. Since combined ACL and medial collateral ligament (MCL) injuries often involve high valgus torque, we hypothesized an association between MCL tears and the presence of a deep lateral femoral notch sign.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of skeletally mature patients (≥14 years) who underwent primary ACL reconstruction (ACLR) and had preoperative MRIs within 3 weeks of injury.
