Background: CT-P13 subcutaneous (SC)-the first and only SC version of infliximab-is approved by the European Medicines Agency for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This new mode of infliximab administration will allow patients to self-inject at home, significantly reducing the number of outpatient visits and costs of intravenous (IV) administration. This paper describes the economic impact of introducing CT-P13 SC to the market from the UK societal perspective.
Objective: The budget impact analysis was conducted to assess the financial impact of the adoption of CT-P13 SC over a 5-year period.
Methods: A prevalence-based budget impact model was developed incorporating epidemiological data, administration cost data, and market share data. The analysis compared a "world with" CT-P13 SC scenario to a "world without" CT-P13 SC. A sensitivity analysis included dose escalation up to 4.1 mg/kg to reflect the real-world care delivery setting.
Results: Compared to the "world without" scenario, the introduction of CT-P13 SC resulted in cost savings of ₤69.3 million in the UK over a 5-year period. In the scenario analysis, the saving increased to ₤173.5 million over 5 years.
Conclusion: Use of CT-P13 SC may lead to substantial cost savings for the UK society.

Background: The COVID-19 lockdowns led to significant resource constraints, potentially impacting mental health and decision-making behaviors. Understanding the psychological and behavioral consequences could inform designing interventions to mitigate the negative impacts of episodic scarcity during crises like pandemics.
Objective: To investigate the effects of perceived scarcity on mental health (stress and fear), cognitive functioning, time and risk preferences (present bias and risk aversion), and trade-offs between groceries, health, and temptation goods during and after the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai.

The gelada (), Ethiopia's only endemic primate and the last surviving graminivorous cercopithecid, was studied in Susgen Natural Forest, South Wollo, to examine seasonal variations in activity budgets and ranging ecology. From February to August 2023, encompassing both dry and wet seasons, 3519 behavioral scans were collected from 1680 group observations using instantaneous scan sampling at 15-min intervals (07:00-17:00 h). Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and nonparametric tests (Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney ), while home ranges were mapped via minimum convex polygon (MCP) and kernel density estimation (KDE).

This paper demonstrates how optimal policy learning can inform the targeted allocation of Indonesia's two subsidized health insurance programmes. Using national survey data, we develop policy rules aimed at minimizing "catastrophic health expenditure" among enrollees of APBD or APBN, the two government-funded schemes. Employing a super learner ensemble approach, we use regression and machine learning methods of varying complexity to estimate conditional average treatment effects and construct policy rules to optimize program benefits, both with and without budget constraints.

Drought stress has profound impacts on ecosystems and societies, particularly in the context of climate change. Traditional drought indicators, which often rely on integrated water budget anomalies at various time scales, provide valuable insights but often fail to deliver clear, real-time assessments of vegetation stress. This study introduces the Cooling Efficiency Factor Index (CEFI), a novel metric purely derived from geostationary satellite observations, to detect vegetation drought stress by analyzing daytime surface warming anomalies.
