Paper-based photodetectors have attracted extensive research interest owing to their environmentally friendly and highly deformable properties. Although perovskite crystals with outstanding optoelectronic properties have proved to be one of the most promising candidates for photodetectors, the development of paper-based photodetectors is hindered by the moisture absorptivity of paper and the instability of perovskite crystals in a humid atmosphere. In this study, we demonstrate a highly deformable and high-performance paper-based perovskite photodetector. The photodetector maintains its excellent performance even after exposure to a relative humidity of 60% for 120 h.

Dysregulated dopaminergic signaling has been implicated in the pathophysiology of major depressive disorder (MDD) and childhood sexual abuse (CSA), but inconsistencies abound. In a multimodal PET-functional MRI study, harnessing the highly selective tracer [C]altropane, we investigated dopamine transporter availability (DAT) and resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) within reward-related regions among 112 unmedicated individuals (MDD: n = 37, MDD/CSA: n = 18; CSA no MDD: n = 14; controls: n = 43). Striatal DAT and seed-based rsFC were assessed in the dorsal and ventral striatum and the ventral tegmental area.

This study explores highly active nitride-based g-CN/CuO photocatalysts for CO photoconversion by synthesizing them through high-pressure torsion (HPT) straining. Data indicate that increasing the applied strain under high pressure promotes vacancy formation and improves the electronic interaction at the g-CN/CuO interphases, enabling superior charge separation and extended light absorption. The generation of dual vacancies of oxygen and nitrogen is verified by electron paramagnetic resonance and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic methods, and the generation of a type-II heterojunction is confirmed by band structure analysis.

Complex chromosomal changes in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) are highly heterogeneous, with disease progression shaped by both the number and nature of abnormalities. Rarely do, multiple unrelated clones with independent chromosomal changes coexist at diagnosis. Present study showcases a comprehensive characterization of two cytogenetically distinct complex clones in AML, driven by non-cyclic and chromoplexy mechanisms, highlighting their co-existence with key molecular alterations (TP53, NF1, DNMT3A, TET2) along with their potential contribution to clonal evolution.

We identified, isolated, and functionally characterized a cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK), PiPho85, from Piriformospora indica. The identified PiPho85 contains TY, PSTAIRE, protein kinase domain, and an ATP binding site which is highly conserved among the Pho85/CDK5 family protein specific for Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In a S.

Ferrets are highly susceptible to infection with several orthoebolaviruses, including Ebola virus (EBOV), yet they are refractory to infection with the orthomarburgviruses, Marburg virus (MARV) and Ravn virus. This study sought to investigate the pathogenicity of rodent-adapted MARV in ferrets. Challenge with guinea pig-adapted (GPA)-MARV resulted in uniform lethality among ferrets, whereas challenge with mouse-adapted (MA)-MARV resulted in partial lethality.
