Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) shares common clinicopathologic features with other severe pulmonary illnesses. Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome was diagnosed in 2 patients in Arizona, USA, suspected of dying from infection with SARS-CoV-2. Differential diagnoses and possible co-infections should be considered for cases of respiratory distress during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Background: People from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds who are living in high-income countries, are disproportionately impacted by blood-borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections (BBVs/STIs). Despite this, many do not engage with available preventive and treatment services due to a range of patient, provider and systems level barriers that make patient engagement challenging. This study explores ways to make healthcare services more acceptable and accessible to promote better health outcomes for Australian residents from CALD communities.

Interprofessional communication is fundamental in healthcare, particularly where patient needs demand coordination and shared understanding. It fosters role clarity, care coordination, and team cohesion. However, unclear hierarchies, heavy workloads, and interpersonal conflicts can disrupt collaboration, affecting professional relationships and patient outcomes.

Recent theoretical proposals suggest that relativistic proper time can act as a source of decoherence in quantum systems, providing a testable overlap between the two theories. Here, we propose a chip-integrated Sagnac interferometer where rotation induces a proper time difference between clockwise and counterclockwise single-photon paths.

This paper presents a multi-robot collaborative manipulation framework, implemented in the Gazebo simulation environment, designed to enable the execution of autonomous tasks by mobile manipulators in dynamic environments and dense obstacles. The system consists of multiple mobile robot platforms, each equipped with a robotic manipulator, a simulated RGB-D camera, and a 2D LiDAR sensor on the mobile base, facilitating task coordination, object detection, and advanced collision avoidance within a simulated warehouse setting. A leader-follower architecture governs collaboration, allowing for the dynamic formation of teams to tackle tasks requiring combined effort, such as transporting heavy objects.
