Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate surgeons' ergonomic satisfaction when using laparoscopic energy devices and to investigate how prolonged use affects muscle fatigue and surgical performance.
Methods: A two-part study, including a survey and a kinesiologic experiment, was conducted to compare 4 laparoscopic energy devices (D1-D4). Thirty surgeons completed a structured survey assessing ergonomic factors such as device weight, grip strength, handle design, comfort, and trigger location.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized for its capacity to transform medicine. While publications applying AI in allergy and immunology have increased, clinical implementation substantially lags behind other specialties. By mid-2024, over 1,000 FDA-approved AI-enabled medical devices existed, but none specifically addressed allergy and immunology.

Prodrugs with enzymatic activation requirements, such as the weakly basic biopharmaceutical classification system (BCS) class IV compound abiraterone acetate (ABA), face considerable bioequivalence (BE) risks owing to their pH-dependent solubility, food effects, and variable intestinal hydrolysis. This study established clinically relevant dissolution specifications for ABA using biorelevant dissolution and physiologically based biopharmaceutics modelling (PBBM). Two dissolution methods, two-stage (gastrointestinal transfer simulation) and single-phase (biorelevant media), were evaluated under fasted and fed conditions.

Objectives: This study aimed to examine physical and craniofacial growth patterns in preschool-aged children with microcephaly and evaluate their potential clinical significance.
Methods: A total of 130 children (76 boys, 54 girls) aged 1-5 years with microcephaly (head circumference <-3 standard deviations) were enrolled in this prospective study at a tertiary care hospital, with 130 age- and sex-matched healthy controls. Nine craniofacial dimensions (head circumference, head length, head width, physiognomic facial length, morphological facial length, minimum frontal diameter, bizygomatic diameter, bigonial diameter, and total jaw height) were measured every six months using standardized techniques and instruments.
