Background: Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) can stimulate an immune response against cancer. We evaluated changes in peripheral lymphocyte subpopulations and cytokines levels after SABR in patients with early-stage NSCLC. We examined how these changes relate to overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS).

Intrathecal Anti- IgG Responses in Multiple Sclerosis Patients Linked to CSF Immune Cells and Disease Activity.

J Clin Med

August 2025

Centre de Recherche Translationnelle en Transplantation et Immunologie, CR2TI UMR1064, Inserm, Université de Nantes, CHU de Nantes, CEDEX 01, 44093 Nantes, France.

: Gut microbial dysbiosis, leaky gut, and increased transepithelial translocation of commensal bacteria have been documented in multiple sclerosis (MS). Intrathecal IgGs specific for , a gut bacterium, are increased in patients with MS and associated with clinical disability. Our objective here was to explore the putative involvement of intrathecal anti- IgG in MS pathogenesis by characterizing patients with different anti- IgG indices.

RELA Haploinsufficiency Manifesting as an Atypical Phenotype of Crohn's Disease.

Inflamm Bowel Dis

August 2025

Institute of Gastroenterology, Nutrition and Liver Diseases, Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel, Petah Tikva 49202, Israel.

Background: Mutations in RELA, a key component of NF-κB signaling, are associated with dysregulated immune responses and inflammatory disorders. While immunodeficiency phenotypes associated with RELA haploinsufficiency have been reported, gastrointestinal manifestations remain poorly described. This study aimed to characterize the clinical, genomic, and immunological features of a patient presenting with an atypical Crohn's-like phenotype driven by RELA haploinsufficiency.

Cellular and molecular characterisation of the peripheral immune environment in migraine.

Pain Rep

October 2025

Brain and Mind Centre, School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Introduction: Peripheral immune dysfunction may be critically involved in the pathophysiology of migraine. Some evidence supports a role for peripheral T cells, monocytes, and humoral factors including kynurenine metabolites and cytokines, however a comprehensive picture has yet to emerge.

Objective: This study sought to undertake a systematic assessment of the immune changes in episodic and chronic migraine across phases of the migraine cycle.

Acute cellular rejection (ACR) remains a common complication post-liver transplantation despite standardised immunosuppressive regimens. Identifying patients at high risk of ACR is challenging, and new tools for prediction are needed. This study aimed to investigate if proportions of circulating T cells as well as different stages of maturation, exhaustion, and activation of T cells pre-transplantation are associated with ACR in liver transplant recipients within the first year post-transplantation.
