Species reintroductions involve considerable uncertainty, especially in highly altered landscapes. Historical, geographic, and taxonomic analogies can help reduce this uncertainty by enabling conservationists to better assess habitat suitability in proposed reintroduction sites. We illustrate this approach using the example of the California grizzly, an iconic species proposed for reintroduction.

This work concerns the study of the mural paintings depicting the Angel Musicians in the vault of the Valencia Cathedral. Discovered in 2004, they are considered one of the earliest examples of Renaissance painting in Europe. Although they were restored after their discovery, salt efflorescence and polychrome lifting reappeared in 2014.

The introduction discusses how the pandemic has affected the performance of these essential tests and underscores the need for a pragmatic assessment of risks and benefits, given that the absence of pulmonary function studies may lead to significant diagnostic and therapeutic errors.The section on the epidemiological situation in Spain highlights that the WHO no longer considers COVID-19 a public health emergency of international concern, reflecting the reduced severity of the disease due to high vaccination coverage and the characteristics of circulating variants.

Local extinction of milky stork Mycteria cinerea has been reported from the wild of Thailand. Only one captive population exists at Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo and is currently maintained as a breeding stock of the country. To initiate future reintroduction program, determination of genetic diversity in this captive population is crucial for its long-term sustainability in nature.
